# Disclosure Monitoring

> Know the moment an issuer's disclosure changes, and whether it matters.

Disclosure Monitoring re-reads every tracked disclosure on a cadence. Each change is versioned, quoted and classified, so you see what changed, where, and how much it matters.

## How changes are classified

| Class | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Material** | The fact changed, for example a new reserve custodian. |
| **Clarification** | Same fact, stated differently, for example the custodian's full legal name. |
| **Editorial** | Formatting or wording only, such as a reflowed PDF. Kept, but folded away in the timeline. |
| **Needs review** | The change couldn't be classified automatically. |

## What you can rely on

* **Same source, same field.** A change is one source saying something different about a disclosed field. Two sources disagreeing is a finding, not a change.
* **Removal is evidence-gated.** A field that disappears is re-read several times before it counts as removed. A failed fetch never counts as a withdrawal.
* **History is immutable.** Every version stays retrievable with its quote, document and hash.

## Watch an asset

On any asset page in [Compliance Explorer](https://explorer.bluprynt.com), click **Watch**. Your watched assets and their changes appear under [Monitoring](https://explorer.bluprynt.com/monitoring).

<Info>
  Monitoring needs Explorer Pro. To manage a watchlist from code, use the [Explorer API](/api/explorer/overview).
